Yama:
The demon Gatekeeper of Del Huoy, the opening to the gates of Chinese Hell. Yama
is a knighted soldier on horseback, with glowing green eyes. He seeks to capture
souls, absorbing them by impaling them on his lance, and does not care whether
the souls are good or bad.
Yama appears on Earth after someone dies, and has a window of opportunity to
capture their soul before their body is properly buried. Though Yama is a spirit
Witches are sometimes able to see him.
Yen Lo: Skilled
in the martial arts, and taught in the spiritual ways of a Zen Master, Yen Lo
was a dangerous opponent. His weapon of choice was a katana blade, and his Zen
learning’s lent him enhanced strength and reflexes, as well as the ability to
travel between the mortal realm and that of Limbo through pools of water and to
look upon the mortal dimension by using water surfaces as scrying glasses.
After battling An Ling, the Zen Master and The Charmed Ones Yen Lo’s soul was
forced into reincarnation while trapped in the Dragon Blade.
